About

Mehwish Abbasi joined the department in 2024. With over 8 years of experience teaching at post-secondary institutions, she has successfully educated students from diverse backgrounds. Her dedication to teaching has earned her nominations for various prestigious teaching excellence awards. Additionally, Mehwish received the President of Pakistan's Award for Academic Excellence in recognition of her outstanding academic achievements.

She teaches courses such as Data AnalyticsData Visualization, and Data Ethics, among others.

In addition to her teaching role, Mehwish serves as a dedicated Tech Mentor with AnitaB.org and is a Google Women Techmakers Ambassador, actively advocating for girls' education.
